BADLANDS presents the historic farewell performance of the king of glitter rock.
London, July 3, 1973. British singer David Bowie performs his alter ego Ziggy Stardust for the very last time. A decadent show, a hallucinogenic collage of kitsch, pop irony and flamboyant excess: a musical symbiosis of feminine passion and masculine dominance that defines Bowie’s art and the glam rock genre.
In a documentary directed by the master D.A. Pennebaker, restored in the context of the 50th anniversary of this performance, we will transport the audience at Passos Manuel to that July night at the Hammersmith Odeon.

A 3 de julho de 1973, David Bowie apresentava pela última vez o seu alter-ego Ziggy Stardust. Um espetáculo decadente, numa colagem alucinante de kitsch, ironia pop e extravagância excessiva: uma simbiose musical de paixão feminina e dominância masculina, que define na perfeição a arte de Bowie e o género glam rock.
Num documentário realizado pelo mestre D.A. Pennebaker, restaurado a contexto dos 50 anos desta performance, vamos transportar o público do Passos Manuel para aquela noite de julho no Hammersmith Odeon.
