On September the 17th, BADLANDS presents “When You’re Strange”, a documentary directed by Tom DiCillo and narrated by Johnny Depp, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the formation of The Doors.
Through archival footage filmed between 1965 and 1971, the film dives into the band’s universe, showcasing the creative energy of four unique musicians: John Densmore, Robby Krieger, Ray Manzarek, and Jim Morrison. From a friendship born in the corridors of UCLA’s film school to performances in sold-out arenas, “When You’re Strange” traces the journey of one of the most iconic and influential bands in the history of rock music.
